Catarina Brew Suggestions:
Fill your kettle with fresh filtered water, and let it boil.
Take out your favorite mug and teapot/steeping accessory.
Place two level teaspoons in your teapot for every 8 ounces (1 cup) of water you’re using.
Let brew 3-5 minutes (depending on your taste).
Strain out tea and enjoy.
Re-brew your tea! Each serving is good to resteep at least one or two more times. (You can’t do that with most teabags.)
Don’t have a fancy tea brew tool handy? You can use your French Press or AeroPress; brewing tea isn’t much different than brewing your favorite coffee. Or if you don’t mind some floating leaves, just put the leaves in your mug with hot water.
Want some iced tea? It’s easier than you think. Put in 4-10 tablespoons of tea in a jug and fill it with water. (Putting in more tea makes it brew quicker. If you can wait, you can put less tea in the jug.) Place the jug in the fridge and let the tea cold brew for at least an hour. You can’t get this wrong. The cold brew method ensures you don’t over-brew your tea, so it’s not bitter. That also means you can put a ton of tea in the jug, and it won’t taste bad either. Pretty cool, right? (Pun intended.) Oh yeah, and when you’ve finished drinking your yummy iced tea, you can put more water in the jug and re-brew the leaves for another round of refreshments.
